<p><strong>Primary purpose of the job:</strong></p><p><em>To maintain and control all paint/phosphate-related processes, Washbay and Ovens to specific requisitions. Metrology environment awareness of CMM measurement.</em></p><p><strong>Key Performance Areas:</strong></p><p>Check paint quality. Crosshatch check</p><p>Responsible for Chemical Stores in paint shop</p><p>Log of all data</p><p>CMM Inspection in metrology measurement.</p><p>Ordering of chemicals and ensure correct test are carried out by supplier</p><p><strong>Responsible for</strong>:</p><p>Start up and controlling of degreasing machine</p><p>Oven temperature and conveyer speed of Gel Oven, using the correct measurement equipment. (Squirrel).</p><p>Part set-up in measurement holding fixture.</p><p>Start up and shut down of paint shop</p><p>Conveyor speed and oven temperature in paint shop, using the correct measuring equipment</p><p>Salt spray test</p><p>Update and maintain all control charts in their areas of responsibility</p><p><strong>Knowledge and Skills required:</strong></p><p>Chemicals</p><p>SPC and Data capture</p><p>Computer literate</p><p>Advance computer skills</p><p>Communication skills</p><p>Problem solving</p><p>Attention to details</p><p>Reporting</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements </strong></p><p>NQF Level 4 / Grade 12</p><p>Tertiary studies in Laboratory Chemicals</p><p>Minimum 1 year experience in Laboratory environment</p><p>Minimum 1 year experience in a metrology part measurement.</p><p>CMM Report reading and analysis added an advantage.</p><p>Must not be colour blind</p>
