UX Designer – Luxury Property Group – Cape Town Negotiable DOE Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury property group based in Cape Town. Our client is seeking a creative and user-focused UX Designer to enhance digital experiences across their platforms. Role and Responsibilities The UX Designer will focus on understanding user behaviour and needs to create intuitive, seamless digital experiences. Key responsibilities include: User Research: Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights on user preferences and challenges Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise interface layouts and user interactions before development User Testing: Test designs with real users to uncover issues and gather actionable feedback for improvements Collaboration: Work closely with UI designers, developers, and product managers to ensure solutions meet both user needs and business objectives Essential Skills To succeed in this role, the UX Designer should demonstrate: Empathy: Ability to understand and anticipate user needs to design effective solutions Analytical Thinking: Skill in interpreting user data and feedback to inform design decisions Design Tool Proficiency: Competence with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision Communication: Clear articulation of design ideas and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams Requirements Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects Knowledge of front-end development principles is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
