About the Role
The Appliance Claims Administrator plays a vital role in processing claims, identifying causes of appliance breakdowns, and providing repair options to clients. This is a critical position that requires strong administrative skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Make contact with clients within given time frames upon receipt of claim
- Virtually evaluate and troubleshoot problems telephonically
- Identify the cause of appliance breakdown where possible
- Provide repair options and timeframes to clients, taking into account product warranties
- Ensure all policy limitations, waiting periods, exclusions are appropriate and in line with active policy
- Process a claim accurately upon Smart repair appointment on the Smarthome repair system
- Appoint technicians to physically assess the damage where necessary
- Ensure timely follow-ups to avoid unnecessary follow-ups
- Attend to customer queries
- Perform any other duties as requested by the company from time to time (Adhoc)
- Meet targets regarding average turnaround times as set out by management on a monthly basis

Qualifications
- Matric
- Electrical repairs will be an advantage (RE 5 will be an advantage)
