Job Summary
Job Title: Application Engineer (Mechanical or Process Engineer) – PUMP INDUSTRY
Location: Head Office in Centurion, with frequent travel across Africa
Role Overview:
As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales representatives with all technical aspects related to the company`s products. Your primary focus will be on delivering effective pump system solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key
Responsibilities:
Technical Assistance: Aid in the selection and specification of pumps to meet customer requirements.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports and proposals for clients.
Client Guidance: Offer expert advice to clients on the most suitable products for their needs.
Support & Consultation: Provide first-line technical support for pump applications and consult on system-related issues.
On-Site Support: Assist with the commissioning of products and perform on-site system analysis and fault-finding.
Reporting: Compile detailed reports with solutions and root cause analysis based on system analysis.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Sales representatives to present and discuss proposed solutions with clients.
Customer Service: Consistently meet or exceed established Customer Support standards.
Ideal Candidate:
Educational Background: Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Mechanical or process engineer)
Experience: Experience in technical support or application engineering, preferably with a focus on pump systems advantageous
1-2 years Exp
Salary + benefits:
R18 000 – R20 000
