? Experience in maintenance of Heavy Duty Vehicles.

? Experience in fault finding and maintenance of an electronically controlled vehicle.

JOB OUTPUTS

? Carry out diagnostic tests to determine faults on Electronically Controlled Vehicle

Management systems.

? Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs including systems and components.

? Carry out maintenance on Electronically Controlled Vehicle Management system at pre

determined intervals.

? Carry out in-situ diagnostic inspections as part of the maintenance program.

? Supervise subordinates.

? Diagnose problems with major electrical systems in range of commercial vehicles.

? Test various commercial vehicles electrical systems for performance and safety.

? Overhaul starters and alternators for various diesel engines.

? Strip and assess replacement parts and install new parts.

? Reassemble starters and alternators.

? Test starters and alternators on test bench.

? Electrical fault finding on vehicles.

? Work according to safety regulations and Company policies and procedures.

? Adhere to workshop Health and Safety procedures.

? Handle all related workshop administration.
