About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven Assistant Store Manager to join a leading luxury retail brand in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end customer environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily store operations
- Drive and maximise sales performance and customer experience
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team on the floor
- Maintain high visual merchandising and brand standards
- Ensure stock control, admin accuracy, and operational compliance
- Deliver an exceptional luxury customer journey at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Assistant Store Manager / Senior Supervisory experience in retail
- Proven strong sales track record within a premium or luxury retail environment
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential
- Strong leadership, people management, and customer service skills
- Ability to drive KPIs, sales targets, and operational excellence
- Must be well-presented with strong brand alignment and professionalism
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
