About the Role

Radley Private School, backed by Raizcorp, is seeking an experienced FET CAT teacher to join our high school team. As our high school IT educator, you’ll be responsible for preparing learners for the modern digital world both academically and practically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Computer Applications Technology (Grades 10-12)
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons focused on Delphi programming and system development
  • Prepare learners for the IEB final examinations
  • Foster strong problem-solving, analytical, and computational thinking skills
  • Use real-world applications to connect classroom learning to future careers
  • Support learners in entrepreneurial and tech-focused projects
  • Collaborate with fellow educators in a supportive and innovative team
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education with FET phase specialisation (non-negotiable)
  • SACE registered (with valid certification) (non-negotiable)
  • 3+ years of teaching experience in FET (preferably in an IEB context)
  • Experience teaching Delphi (preferred)
  • Experience in Java (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of IEB assessment standards and curriculum planning
  • Passionate about digital innovation and preparing students for future careers
  • Comfortable working in a small, high-impact, entrepreneurial school environment
