About the Role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Developer: Financial Reporting & Automation Assistant Manager to take ownership of a critical reporting function within Group Finance. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, development, and optimisation of business intelligence solutions that directly influence strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust BI solutions that transform complex business data into actionable insights.
- Integrate and analyse data from multiple sources to create accurate, unified reporting views.
- Develop and maintain OLAP and Tabular Model Cubes within SQL Server environments.
- Optimise data models, schemas, and reporting processes to improve performance and scalability.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into impactful dashboards and reports.
- Lead the implementation of new BI reports while enhancing and standardising existing reporting frameworks.
- Administer and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integrations across the business.
- Identify trends, performance anomalies, and commercial opportunities through advanced data analysis.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
