About the Role
Route Management is seeking a highly motivated Business Development and Officer (Marketer) to join their team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the Route group of companies, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic marketing efforts, building relationships with clients, and implementing systems to manage critical aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for production targets of turnover, yield, and non-interest bearing income
- Maintain and manage existing relationships with clients of the Route group of companies
- Follow up leads received from group marketers and dealers
- Market any/all products, equipment, and/or services related to the Route group of companies
- Implement systems and procedures to record and manage critical aspects in relation to your primary focus area
- Establish and build new relationships through cold calling, visits, follow-up on prospects, etc.
- Maintain existing relationships with all different financial institutions
- Sign contracts and sureties, ensuring adherence to company documents and legal requirements
- Provide monthly sales reporting and other reports requested by management
- Compile quality credit applications
Requirements
- Valid Grade 12 Certificate
- Advantageous legislative requirements:
- NGF5
- Re accreditation
- NCA accreditation
- Completed or partially completed bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience in similar role with customer service focus
- Good communicator and team player
- Hard worker and must be able to perform under pressure
- Ability to work neatly, accurately, and in an organized manner
- Bilingual
- Strong Administrative skills and deadlines driven
