Johannesburg: Business Systems Analyst

In order to be considered the following is required: Undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science advantageous Formal Business Analysis Training Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as an analyst (business / systems) on software and process re-engineering projects Experience working on projects that follow an Agile project methodology Extensive understanding of IT software products / development Experience in Software testing Experience with process re-engineering projects Must be competent in workshop facilitation techniques Formal courses in IT Software Development or IT Software Products advantageous Responsibilities: Responsible for the analysis, documentation, testing and implementation of business and technical requirements for new and enhanced functionality Automate solutions and manual processes wherever feasible Document business process flows as part of the requirements documents, including. As-is and To-be flows Implementation of solutions that are automated and are not aligned to legacy way of work Documentation and maintenance of stories as per the Agile methodology Produce solution overview and detailed diagrams to support the implementation Work with other team members and stakeholders to deliver solutions Quality assurance of the solutions implemented, including test pack documentation and user acceptance testing support Providing analysis and support for the implementation of new and existing solutions Requirements handover to multiple development teams – internal and external Requirement handover to multiple business teams Perform and document gap analysis where required Perform and document impact analysis and feasibility studies where required Translate business requirements into system/functional requirements Engage with business to train them on various business process and provide support as needed Compile project related documentation and obtain relevant sign offs as required Integrate and implement new and existing systems to their fullest in order to achieve efficient and cost effect objectives for the Group of companies Facilitate project requirements workshops, maintain group focus and lead discussions toward stated goals, ensuring clear decisions are taken and decisions and actions are clearly and accurately noted Information displayed above not limited to advertisement.
