About the Role
TORS GROUP is seeking a commercially aware Contract Engineer to manage contracts, compliance and risk for infrastructure and energy projects across South Africa. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, draft, review and negotiate EPC, procurement and subcontracting agreements in line with SA laws.
- Identify contract risks, manage variations, EOT, claims and cost adjustments.
- Review BOQ, scope, specifications and resolve commercial disputes.
- Monitor compliance of contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain contract records, reports and meeting minutes.
- Support tendering and work closely with project, engineering and finance teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Contract Management or related field;
- FIDIC/NEC certification preferred;
- Valid work authorization in South Africa;
- Minimum 23 years contract / commercial experience in SA construction or energy.
