About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager for a luxury hospitality brand in South Africa. This remote role requires a creative and data-driven professional to elevate brand presence while driving enquiries and bookings through strategic digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PR activity, partnerships, and brand collaborations
- Grow blog content into a strong acquisition channel
- Manage SEO: keyword planning, on-page optimisation, metadata, and local SEO
- Plan and execute paid campaigns (Meta, Google, retargeting, seasonal campaigns)
- Analyse performance using GA4, UTMs, and conversion tracking
- Improve conversion across the funnel including website, landing pages, and email capture
- Lead and grow social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Create and manage high-quality content including video, imagery, and storytelling
- Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar
- Drive engagement, awareness, and conversion through social strategies
- Build and manage a UGC (user-generated content) pipeline
- Manage community engagement and brand communication
- Lead influencer collaborations and partnerships
- Monitor trends and optimise content performance
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in brand, social, or digital marketing (luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle preferred)
- Proven experience growing social channels and delivering high-quality campaigns
- Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, and performance metrics
- Experience managing external partners, creatives, and agencies
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
