Johannesburg: Client Services Consultant (Investment Asset Management)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our investment asset management division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support, and driving business growth through strategic thinking and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationships with clients and become an expert resource
  • Provide expert initial and ongoing training on custom IT systems
  • Offer comprehensive, structured input to specific problems/requests in the advice process
  • Manage and leverage internal resources to meet deliverables
  • Proactively cultivate relations and engage socially where beneficial
  • Develop and maintain expertise, skill, and technical knowledge required to add valuable input across the business and investment proposition
  • Collaborate with global teams (investment, operations, sales, software development, and support) to resolve client concerns
  • Provide first-line support to clients via phone, email, online, and face-to-face meetings (occasional travel required)
  • Suggest improvements to productivity, service quality, and processes
  • Record and relay client feedback and insights to internal teams

Requirements

  • Completed BCom (Honours) in Investment Management
  • Minimum 3 years of client relations experience within an Asset Management/Investment Management/Wealth planning environment
  • Postgraduate qualification in Financial Planning is an advantage

  • Matric certificate
  • University degree in a relevant field (BCom, Honours)
