About the Role
The Cluster Chief Financial Officer will be the CEO’s right-hand navigator, balancing risk, reward, regulations, and results across a diverse portfolio in a fast-moving tourism powerhouse. This is a hands-on executive role where finance plays an active and strategic role.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO, playing an active role in business leadership and strategy
- Flag financial and strategic risks before they hit cruising altitude
- Lead and support M&A activity, from deal evaluation to integration
- Oversee legal and statutory compliance across multiple entities
- Internal controls & risk management
- Internal & external audits
- Accounting, reporting, budgets & forecasts
- Working capital & cash flow optimisation
- Taxation and consolidated financial reporting
Requirements
CA(SA) qualified with 10 to 12 years in a financial management role, including 5 years at an executive level. Proven senior leadership and people management experience in the services industry is non-negotiable.
