About the Role
If you stay calm under pressure and enjoy being the person who keeps things moving, this role is for you. You will work in a busy control room where your actions help protect families, farms, estates, and businesses every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alarm activations (commercial and residential) and dispatch Armed Response or technical teams
- Log all incidents clearly and track response units until each case is closed
- Communicate by two-way radio and phone with patrol officers, response teams, management, and clients
- Use your area knowledge (Pretoria East, Boschkop, Rayton, Cullinan) to guide teams to the right locations
- Monitor CCTV, panic systems, and other security equipment, and report faults to the technical team
- Write accurate incident reports and shift handover reports
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Proven experience as a Control Room Operator / Service Controller / Dispatcher (security industry preferred)
- Strong dispatch and incident coordination skills
- Clear communication skills (Afrikaans & English preferred)
- Strong admin skills, attention to detail, and accurate incident logging
- CCTV monitoring and panic systems experience is an advantage
- Computer literate (MS Office)

Salary & Benefits
R8 000 to R12 000 per month, based on your experience
