About the Role
Our client operates in a technical manufacturing and recycling environment where precision, efficiency, and cost control are critical. This role sits at the heart of operations partnering with production to ensure accurate costing, material control, and inventory integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex product costing (standard vs actual)
- Analyse production orders, yields, and material variances
- Control raw material consumption and WIP valuation
- Lead and reconcile stock counts and inventory controls
- Deliver sharp variance analysis and cost reporting
- Support month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Requirements
- BCom Accounting / Cost & Management Accounting (CIMA advantageous)
- 35 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing/processing
- Strong exposure to yields, production orders, raw materials, and inventory
- ERP system experience (SAP, Syspro or similar)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical ability
