Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to oversee a Data Centre Managed Services project. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems, along with strong project management and customer relationship management skills. 5+ years of experience managing data center projects. This role requires a highly organized and proactive professional capable of ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining high service standards.

The Data Centre Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to data centre infrastructure, construction, expansion, upgrades, and migrations. They will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and business objectives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project delivery. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee the Data Centre NOC Team to ensure optimal operations.

Proven experience in managing Data Centre Managed Services (MS) projects.

Strong technical expertise in HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems.

Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills

1. Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Data Centre Managed Services (MS) projects.

2. Oversee the maintenance and operations of critical HVAC, UPS, generators, and DC plant systems.

3. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

4. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

5. Monitor project performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory requirements.

6. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, while proactively managing issue resolution.

7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.

8. Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all project phases.

9. Provide leadership and guidance to the Data Centre NOC Team, ensuring efficient monitoring and support operations.
