• Own the full lifecycle of the product/platform from ideation to release

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business objectives

• Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories

• Work closely with engineering teams to build and enhance the platform

• Define and prioritize the product backlog

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality tech solutions

• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (CEO, COO, engineering, sales) and development teams

• Gather and prioritize feature requests and feedback from users or clients

• Run and manage the product independently with minimal oversight

• Make strategic and tactical decisions to drive product growth and performance

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and scalable

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology products

• Proven ability to independently run and own a product with minimal oversight

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, backlog management, and roadmap development

• Experience building or managing tech platforms

• Background in Engineering and/or Computer Science (preferred but not essential)

• Experience working in or with companies that build their own technology products

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decisions

• Agile/Scrum methodology experience

• Experience with Salesforce is a strong advantage

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

• Must be able to work from the office in Johannesburg (hybrid may be considered)

• Design, build, and maintain relational databases for storing and managing structured data.

• Work with large volumes of raw data, including cleaning, transforming, and organizing it for usability.

• Handle routine data maintenance tasks such as backups, data loads, and exports.

Minimum Requirements: 

• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Solid knowledge of Python or Node.js.

• Working knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud architecture and services (S3, Lambda, RDS).

• Exposure to data science tools or concepts, including Deep Learning or LLMs.

• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms like KNIME or Fowgear.

• Basic understanding of Git and GitHub for version control.

• Experience building or maintaining Power BI reports.
