Requirements
What Youll Be Doing

Own and drive data quality standards across critical datasets

Define, monitor, and enforce data governance and stewardship practices

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis using strong SQL skills
-
Partner with business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders to resolve data issues

Support enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms
-
Produce clear documentation, controls, and audit-ready artefacts
-
Contribute to regulatory and risk-driven data initiatives
Benefits

510+ years experience in Data Stewardship, Data Governance, or Data Management

Strong understanding of data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness)

Proven experience in Investment Banking / CIB / BFSI environments

Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reconciliation

Experience working with enterprise data warehouses

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business and IT

Strong documentation, control, and governance mindset
Nice to Have (Advantageous)

Exposure to risk, finance, trading, or regulatory datasets

Experience with Power BI or analytics consumption layers

Familiarity with data governance tools, metadata management, or MDM platforms

Knowledge of SARB regulatory expectations or similar regulatory frameworks
