Job Description
- Responsible for completing daily vehicle checklist and reporting any defects to management immediately
- Immediately report any mechanical or other defects detected while driving
- Adhere to all company and traffic rules and regulations
- Responsible for the cleanliness and safe driving of trucks in line with the Road Traffic Act
- Ensure the safety of goods in transit and deliver at the scheduled destination
- Responsible for all necessary daily paperwork and signatures required on invoices and other document
- Maintained constant communication with the Branch Manager regarding traffic issues, customer related delays
- Take full responsibilities for all stock loaded and off loaded
- Responsible for the safeguarding of company assets and ensuring the vehicles is locked and secured at each stop
- Execute instructions as directed by the Branch Manager
- Ensure the vehicle is filled up with fuel at the required fuel stations indicated by the Branch Manager
- Ensure all fuel transactions slips is returned to the Branch Manager
