About the Role
The Employee Benefits, Rewards Remuneration Manager (Public Sector) role is a key position within the HR Management Team at Isilumko Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the overall HR strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall HR strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
- Design and implement a comprehensive Total Reward Strategy aligned with organisational values, culture, and performance goals.
- Develop talent attraction and staff retention strategies through effective remuneration and reward systems.
- Establish and maintain transparent, competency-based remuneration policies and practices that promote recognition and employee development.
- Lead the design and implementation of remuneration systems that enhance organisational efficiency.
- Oversee job evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with policies and standardisation of job titles and profiles.
- Ensure workforce alignment by supporting organisational design, job profiling, and restructuring initiatives.
- Manage monthly and annual reporting to provide reliable HR analytics and management insights for executive decision-making.
- Lead the development, training, and performance management of divisional staff.
- Oversee the development and implementation of benefits and variable pay policies.
- Initiate and manage remuneration and reward projects to support organisational growth and transformation.
Requirements
- Honours Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or related field (NQF Level 8).
- Masters Degree in HR, Psychology, Remuneration, or Payroll (advantageous).
- At least 9 years experience in a HR Reward Services / Remuneration & Benefits environment, including:
- At least 5 years in a senior specialist or management role.
- Registration with the South African Rewards Association (SARA) as a Remuneration Specialist (advantageous).
