Job Summary

Role: External Sales Representative Location: Gauteng – Regions to cover : Johannesburg North, Midrand and Pretoria areas. Industry: The product range being sold is Welding Equipment, Welding Consumables and Protective gear. Languages: Speak English and Afrikaans The package: R25,000 per month plus vehicle / fuel allowance plus commission Qualification and Requirements Matric. Tertiary qualification advantageous. Proven experience as an External Sales Rep. Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle – essential Excellent sales track record. Clear criminal record Skills Calling on existing customers Cold calling on potential customers Promoting our products Training customers in the use of our products Analysing customer purchases and identifying gaps Processing quotes Processing orders Assisting with customer payment collections Assisting with stock takes Participating in internal training Achieve growth and achieve sales targets. Implement and maintain a sales system to ensure successful quoting to delivery transition with consideration for the factory planning requirements. Design and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan that delivers new business growth. Identify leads, manage, and call on prospects and acquire new business. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to potential customers. Achieve budgeted annual and monthly sales performance targets while maintaining budgeted GP. Present monthly sales reports and realistic forecasts for sales pipeline. Prepare and deliver quotations and follow up with key decision makers. Develop and maintain an awareness of market behaviour and competitive trends and respond accordingly. Regular meetings with managers and the sales teams to review weekly activities, progress, and pipeline insights to customers. Provide excellent aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Role & Responsibilities All Internal and External Sales functions, including dealing with incoming customer phone, emails, internet, sales counter enquires, product demonstrations, as well as visiting customers at their premises to ensure a superior customer service and to expand the range and volume of customer purchases. Recommending of suitable products for customers requirements. Processing of customers orders, including quotations, checking stock availability, capturing picking slips and invoices. Assisting with stock take duties. Cold calling at potential customers premises and following up on leads to develop and increase the size of the customer base. Manage a group of customers, ensuring that they are receiving superior service and that they are purchasing a full range of the companys products and that sales budgets are being achieved. An important part of this function will be visiting the customers at their premises and building strong inter-company relationships. Manage product groups, to ensure a full range of products in the range are being sold and that sales budgets are being achieved. Ensure that any important information regarding the companys suppliers, customers, competitors, and staff which comes to light is brought to managements attention. Manage, complete, and update daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and call cycles. Any and all ad hoc duties reasonably falling within the employees skills, experience and training. Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the welding and industrial sectors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for welding equipment, consumables, and services. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Customer Engagement Conduct regular client visits to assess their welding needs and provide tailored solutions. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers. Act as a key point of contact for customers: providing pre-sales and post-sales support. Gather feedback and relay customer requirements to the internal technical or product teams. Product Knowledge & Technical Support Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding equipment, machines, consumables, and safety gear. Provide basic technical guidance and troubleshooting for customers (in collaboration with technical teams if needed). Stay current with industry standards, codes and welding techniques. Reporting & Administration Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit logs. Manage CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Collaborate with the internal sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Territory Management Manage and develop a specific geographic sales territory or sector. Plan efficient travel schedules and customer visit routes to maximize coverage and productivity. Promotions & Trade Shows Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and industry events. Organize or participate in customer workshops, training sessions, and product launches. After-Sales Service Follow up with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues. Coordinate service, maintenance, or warranty support when necessary Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during product demonstrations or customer interactions. Job Summary

Our client in the 4×4 automotive industry is looking to employ an external sales representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. Responsibilities: Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan. Provide after-sales support to retain customers. Report on the status of customer accounts. Promote new products/services to existing customers. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media. Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. Minimum requirements: Grade 12 Valid drivers license – code 8 Deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills Experience in Pastel would be an advantage Computer literate especially on MS Office Technical drawing experience would be an advantage. Previous experience in a 4×4 accessories sales role is an advantage Office hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 Employee is required to be at the office 20 mins earlier. Basic Salary would depend on experience The company does pay a December incentive and Profit share annually based on individual and company performance. Key Responsibilities: Identify customer needs and develop tailored sales plans Provide top-tier after-sales support to retain and grow client base Deliver accurate and timely responses to client inquiries Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication Report on customer account status and sales performance Suggest and promote suitable products and services to enhance client satisfaction Conduct market research and actively pursue new sales opportunities Arrange client meetings, prepare impactful presentations, and close deals Ensure product stock availability for demonstrations Handle objections professionally and provide solutions Collect customer feedback and report insights to the team Requirements: Proven experience as an External Sales Executive Understanding of 4×4 vehicles and accessories is essential Must have a Matric certificate Valid Drivers License (Code 08) Background in technical drawing, suspension, or mechanical fields is advantageous Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English and Afrikaans Effective presentation and negotiation skills Strong customer service orientation and target-driven mindset Professional, well-spoken, and detail-oriented Confident using Email, Word, Excel spelling and grammar are important Experience with Pastel is a plus Must be self-motivated , a quick learner, and a strong problem solver Able to work well under pressure and independently Preferably resides in Boksburg, Kempton Park, Edenvale, or Benoni

Job Summary

Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as an External Sales Executive in the 4×4 Air Suspension & Accessories Industry Proficient in MS Office suite essential Experience in Pastel will be advantageous Strong knowledge of 4×4 Technical drawing (suspension or mechanical) will be beneficial Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required Contactable references and payslips required Salary Structure: Monthly Cost to Company of R 22 000 to R 26 000, negotiable based on experience Annual Incentives and Profit Share, based on overall performance throughout the year (Only suitable candidates will be shortlisted and contacted within 14 days)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven External Sales Representative to drive demand for their products across the Gauteng region. This exciting role involves promoting and selling to hardware stores, distributors, exporters, contractors, and developers. You’ll be responsible for growing key accounts, sourcing new business, and increasing brand visibility through on-site demos and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct customer visits daily – across Gauteng Manage and grow existing key accounts Identify and develop new business opportunities Deliver product samples and conduct on-site demonstrations Resolve client queries promptly and professionally Promote brand awareness and represent the company positively in the market Company offers: Full training and sales materials provided A supportive, fast-paced sales environment The opportunity to represent a reputable and growing brand Requirements: Must have own reliable transport (fuel reimbursed monthly; vehicle maintenance at own cost) Willingness to travel extensively throughout Gauteng, including 2–4 nights away monthly for remote store visits Compulsory office attendance: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, with occasional Saturdays Proven sales experience and strong interpersonal skills

Job Summary

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent Ideally 2-3 years sales experience within the steel industry Customer would look at associated industry experience. Must be self-driven and motivated Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively whilst under pressure Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation The successful candidate will be responsible for: Working through specific targeted areas with a focused approach on identifying viable leads and opening new accounts. Performing online research to generate new leads. Reporting on activities and continually engaging in follow-ups. Identifying opportunities for company growth. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with new clients. Providing customers with information on current and incoming stock. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and pricing. Analyzing and sharing information related to the market, competition, pricing, and all other developments within the steel sector.
