Johannesburg: Finance & Insurance Manager

Role Overview: As the F&I Manager, you will be responsible for managing all finance and insurance activities within the dealership, including structuring vehicle finance deals, presenting F&I products to customers, negotiating with banks and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. You will play a critical role in maximizing profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the dealerships overall sales objectives. Key Responsibilities: Structure and present finance and insurance options to customers in a professional and customer-centric manner. Negotiate with banks, insurance providers, and other financial institutions to secure competitive rates and packages. Achieve and exceed monthly F&I targets and contribute to the dealerships overall financial performance. Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and manufacturer requirements relating to finance and insurance. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to dealership management. Collaborate closely with sales teams to optimize the customer experience and identify opportunities for upselling F&I products. Train and mentor dealership staff on F&I processes and best practices. Key Requirements / Preferred Profile: Fully qualified with a minimum of 35 years experience as an F&I Manager in the motor industry (experience with VW or premium brands advantageous). Demonstrable success in achieving F&I sales targets and maintaining high compliance standards. Strong negotiation skills with banks and insurance providers. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills. Highly organized with strong administrative and reporting abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
