About the Role
Join a prestigious luxury events and functions venue in Johannesburg as their next Financial Controller. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hospitality finance professional to step into a high-impact role within a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform strong financial controls to protect company profits, stock, and assets
- Manage procurement and supplier management
- Assist with operational and administrative duties as required by the General Manager
- Maintain accurate management accounts, profit & loss statements, and assist with VAT submissions and compliance
- Calculate and manage F&B Cost of Sales
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Financial Controller within the hospitality industry
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Workspace (Gmail & Drive)
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
