About the Role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Financial Manager FP&A to join its dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This role requires a strong combination of technical accounting expertise, financial planning capability, and stakeholder engagement skills within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management, Control & Budgeting: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts; Ensure effective daily cash monitoring and financial control; Review quarterly and annual financial returns for regulatory compliance.
- Financial Reporting & Insights: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports; Compile financial reporting packs for management committees; Analyse financial results and provide variance explanations.
- Financial Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards; Review financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Data Analysis & Decision Support: Interpret financial data to provide actionable business insights; Identify anomalies and investigate variances; Support business decision-making through financial analysis.
- Process Improvement & Systems: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems; Support implementation of financial systems enhancements; Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders up to executive level; Present financial results to management committees; Collaborate with business units to support financial planning needs.
- Leadership & Team Management: Manage and develop junior finance staff; Set performance objectives and monitor delivery; Provide coaching and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications
- Completed CA(SA)/BCOM/CIMA articles (SAICA or equivalent)
