Franchise Enablement Consultant A leading Financial Service Provider (FSP) with a national presence in South Africa seeks a dynamic and driven Franchise Enablement Consultant to join its Short-Term Insurance division. With a robust network of 280 financial advisers, including 50 specialized short-term insurance experts, and partnerships with 122 product providers, this organization is a titan in financial planning and advice. Job Overview Job Title : Franchise Enablement Consultant Reporting to : Franchise Enablement Manager Business Unit : Short-Term Insurance Location :Centurion The Franchise Enablement Consultant plays a pivotal role in empowering the organizations expanding short-term insurance franchise network. This exciting position drives the success of franchisees by embedding a powerful value proposition, championing operational excellence, fostering technology adoption, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role is perfect for a proactive, tech-savvy professional with a passion for building relationships, driving performance, and delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced, principles-driven environment. Key Responsibilities The Franchise Enablement Consultant will ignite the potential of the franchise network through the following responsibilities: Value Proposition Enhancement & Delivery Champion the Value Proposition : Actively embeds and promotes the organizations compelling value proposition across the franchise network, ensuring franchisees fully embrace its benefits. Empower Franchisees : Guides franchisees in leveraging comprehensive operational, marketing, and compliance support to maximize their success. Build Strong Connections : Cultivates trusted relationships with advisers, fostering collaboration and open communication. Provide Tailored Support : Delivers customized guidance to meet the unique needs of each franchise. Drive Engagement : Facilitates regular check-ins, progress reviews, and feedback sessions to keep franchises aligned with strategic goals. Serve as the Go-To Expert : Acts as the primary point of contact for franchise enablement, ensuring seamless operational support and swift resolution of challenges. Franchise Vesting & Capability Development Set High Standards : Embeds and monitors consistent operational standards across the franchise network to ensure excellence. Boost Performance : Identifies performance gaps and collaborates with franchisees to develop and execute improvement plans. Mitigate Risks : Assesses and mitigates operational and advice-related risks, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Lead Training Initiatives : Delivers engaging training on risk policies, regulatory expectations, best practices, and the organizations cutting-edge technology ecosystem. Resolve Issues : Investigates incidents of non-compliance, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Support Onboarding : Guides new franchises through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration of business processes. Foster Collaboration : Facilitates knowledge sharing and peer learning among franchisees and advisers to drive collective success. Innovate Continuously : Contributes ideas to enhance the franchise enablement strategy, keeping it dynamic and forward-thinking. Promote Technology Adoption : Monitors technology utilization, troubleshoots user issues, and champions efficient, tech-enabled operations. Regulatory Requirement : RE5 certification (essential for financial services roles in South Africa). Experience : Proven expertise in short-term insurance. 35 years in a client-facing, operations, training, or enablement role. Exposure to supporting decentralized teams or multi-branch operations. Skills and Competencies Interpersonal Excellence : Builds strong, trusted relationships with advisers and franchisees. Insurance Expertise : Demonstrates a practical understanding of short-term insurance processes. Communication Mastery : Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Tech Savviness : Excels in using InsureTech platforms and confidently trains others on digital tools. Attention to Detail : Maintains a sharp focus on accuracy and precision. Initiative and Accountability : Takes ownership of tasks and drives results with a proactive mindset. Other Requirements Drivers License : Valid drivers license required. Travel : Enthusiasm for national travel to support franchises across South Africa.
