The Role: We are looking for a Fulfillment Agent to join our dynamic team in our Sandton office and help deliver a world-class digital customer experience for our rapidly growing subscriber base. This role is for an ambitious and highly motivated individual seeking the rare opportunity to help scale a high-growth technology company, across multiple verticals. Key Role & Responsibilities : Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders through our e-commerce platform. Verify product availability, pricing, and shipping details. Process orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and update stock records as needed. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as necessary. Picking and Packing: Retrieve products from designated storage areas based on order requirements. Pack orders securely and accurately, ensuring products are properly labelled and packaged for shipping. Organise packed orders for pickup or shipment according to shipping deadlines. Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing. Identify any damaged or defective items and take appropriate action. Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all fulfilment processes. Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries. Generate shipping labels and documentation for outgoing orders. Track shipments and update customers on order status as needed. Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping updates, and product availability. Resolve any issues or concerns related to order fulfilment in a timely and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Required Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in warehouse operations, order fulfilment, or logistics preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order management systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
