About the Role
Our client, Telebest, is seeking a skilled Gap and Medical Insurance Salesperson to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting clear objectives, identifying products that meet customer needs, and providing exceptional sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Set clear objectives for each sales call and ask relevant questions to evaluate the customers level of interest.
- Identify the products or services that best meet the customer’s stated needs.
- Use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
- Make calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Provide daily support on new and existing accounts to perform prescribed activities.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, and reading specialist media.
- Maintain high ethical standards and professional codes of conduct.
- Make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Build strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
- Handle conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.
- Use compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others.
Requirements
- Matric or SAQA accredited – essential.
- FAIS accreditation and qualification would be advantageous.
- Regulatory exam 5 would be advantageous.
- 1+ years telephonic sales experience – essential.
- Medical insurance and Gap Sales experience – advantageous.
