Johannesburg: GRADER OPERATOR posted by Route Management

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Grader Operator to join our team for road construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate motor graders to spread, level, and grade earth, gravel, and other materials for road construction and maintenance
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and grade stakes
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and ground crews

Requirements:

• Valid grader operator certification/license
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience operating motor graders
• Ability to read grade stakes and work to specifications
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Additional heavy equipment operation experience
