About the Role
A premium hospitality group, based in Rosebank, is seeking a technically strong Group Accountant to join their head office finance team. This role requires a high-volume transaction environment with tight reporting cycles, where accuracy and reliability are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Group-level reporting and consolidation support
- Processing and review of high-volume transactions
- Balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting audit processes and compliance
- Ensuring strong internal controls across entities
- Assisting operational teams with financial insight and reporting
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 13 years’ post-articles experience
- Retail or hospitality experience advantageous
- Comfortable working in high-volume transaction environments
- Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
- Deadline-driven with high attention to detail
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: BCom in Accounting, Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
