Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Managing the engineering budget, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing resource utilization.
Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Engineers and Project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
Collaborating with other departments, such as product management, sales, and marketing, to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
Managing complex engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Providing technical support to sales team in conducting site audits, system design, defining scope of work as well as costing for quotation and tenders.
Identify new products and solutions.
Managing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing resource utilization.
Qualification & Skills
B.Eng. Electrical Engineering Degree
Must have experience within the Power and Energy sector
Minimum 5 Years work experience with references
Abide by all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Registered with ECSA to be able to sign off on engineering projects
Any other short Engineering courses in Medium voltage, Solar PV will be an advantage.
