About the Role

Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Finance & Compliance. This position is based in Johannesburg, and the successful candidate will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, and managing key support functions, including Finance, Risk and Compliance, and some operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
Mitigate financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance programs
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CA (SA) qualification
3-8 years of experience in an operational and finance role within the investment industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Experience in compliance and risk management

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CA (SA) qualification
Relevant work experience in finance, risk and compliance, and IT

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R800K/Yr – R1.2mil/Yr
