About the Role
Our client, part of a prestigious group of leading South African Financial Services Providers, is seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Marketing to lead the transformation and revitalisation of their marketing department. Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement Marketing, Partnership, Loyalty, Rewards and Commercial plans.
- Manage and grow a team comprising of a Graphic Design team, a Senior Digital Marketing & UI/UX Manager and Internal Communication & Events.
- Build relationships internally with the departmental teams to identify product-based marketing opportunities that the marketing team will need to execute on.
- Operational and strategic leading of the Marketing Team and work closely with and support the department to achieve strategic outcomes as directed by EXCO.
- Operational and strategic leading of the Rewards & Loyalty function to achieve strategic outcomes as directed by EXCO.
- Own and manage Marketing & Rewards spend and targets.
- Be responsible for achieving and tracking all Marketing & Rewards KPI’s.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience working across marketing channels Digital, ATL, Partnerships, Commercial with demonstrable results
- 7+ years experience within the strategic management & oversight of Rewards and Loyalty programmes.
- Familiarity and acute understanding of different demographic markets in South Africa.
- Proficient in social reporting tools and analytics.
