About the Role
As a Human Resources Consultant at Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd), you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and providing expert advice to management and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving completed recruitment requests from Departments and ensuring completed Starter Packs handed out to new employees
- Referring to EE stats to determine candidate fit
- Conducting interviews including Recruitment specialists from other Departments
- Checking that all disciplinary documentation are completed properly
- Attending disciplinaries in HR capacity
- Advising and communicating HR Policies and Procedures to all staff members
- Identifying reasons for staff turnover
- Analysis of trends in exit interviews and disciplinary hearings
- Following up with individuals to see if they are confident that the problem has been resolved
- Administering and monitoring disability process in line with the rules of the relevant benefit fund as well as company policies and procedures
- Creating a relaxed and friendly HR work environment where an employee would feel comfortable to discuss personal problems
- Assisting Line Management in performance consulting
- Monitoring performance reviews within the cycle
- Contracts, reviews, and appraisals are filed in the personal files
- Assist to champion vision, mission, values, and goals for organisational change process through Star Program, MOM, GRI, Sports, Club Fortune, and Customer Service initiatives
- Updating of compendiums
- Preparation of HJAs for recruitment purposes
- Conducting PPA for promotions, recruitments, placements, and staff development
- Secretariat in EE committee meetings
- Liaising with EE committee members regarding agenda points and meetings
- Co-ordinating EE activities
- Eradicating employee relations barriers
Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
- HR Diploma or Degree (NQF level 5)
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
