About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg. As an office-based role, this position requires someone who can confidently assist clients with product selection, technical advice, and accurate pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming sales enquiries via email, phone
  • Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and proposals
  • Provide technical guidance on screening media, industrial filtration products, and related engineered solutions (e.g., woven wire mesh, perforated plates, wedge wire screens)
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service
  • Support the external sales team with technical documentation, costing, and sales planning
  • Process orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with production and logistics teams
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new technologies and industry trends
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
  • Maintain sales records, CRM updates, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production fields (advantageous)
  • 24 years in sales or internal sales within a technical or industrial environment
  • Experience with screening media, filtration systems, or engineered industrial products (advantageous)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings or interpret specifications (preferred)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in quotes and documentation
  • Computer literacy and experience with CRM or ERP systems

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our team in City Deep, Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for servicing allocated customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. If you have strong aircon product knowledge and can perform under pressure in a competitive technical sales environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service allocated customer accounts
  • Assist walk-in customers
  • Generate quotations and invoices
  • Process orders and respond to enquiries timeously
  • Secure new accounts and grow customer base
  • Analyze market trends
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Work closely with external sales representatives
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automotive Aftermarket or Parts Sales
  • Working knowledge of automotive air-conditioning systems (essential)
  • Ability to communicate in English and basic Afrikaans
  • Strong stress tolerance and ability to multitask
  • Understanding of restraint of trade considerations
  • Matric (Non-negotiable)
