About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team in Wellington, Western Cape. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment, while ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment
- Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of materials
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on boilers and related systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Identify faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and maintenance teams
Requirements
- Trade Test Certificate as a Boilermaker
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and standards
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
