About the Role
Diverse Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Digital Software Solutions Project Manager with a strong background in the Individual Life Insurance Industry to lead our permanent project management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing software solutions projects for external clients and companies in the life insurance industry. Key Responsibilities
- Manage software solutions projects for external clients and companies in the life insurance industry
- Lead planning and/or implementation of IT Software solutions projects in the Life Insurance domain
- Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements
- Resolve/assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between digital software development projects or functional areas
- Develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary
- Assemble and manage project staff for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects
- Manage project budget and resource allocation
- Interact regularly with existing or potential External companies to determine their needs and develop plans for improving delivery
Requirements
- Individual Life Insurance Industry experience
- Minimum 4 – 8 years working experience as an IT Digital solutions Project Manager with experience in the Individual Life Insurance Industry
- Working experience in the Life Insurance/Funeral/Risk Industry and experience in Software Solutions Projects for External Clients/Companies
- Full SDLC (Software development Life cycle) working experience
- Agile experience and Jira Experience in Life Insurance and Experience in Software Projects and Client Services
- Project management Certificate
- Matric Certificate
- Software Degree or software Diplomas or other qualifications is an advantage
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications are not required for this role
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary package: R 50 000 – R 70 000 CTC Perm Month (maximum, and not negotiable)
- Pension Fund of between 4% – 11% of your Monthly Salary will be deducted from your Monthly Salary (mandatory for all employees)
