About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Junior Civil Construction Foreman to join our construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on construction experience who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory role. You’ll work closely with our senior site management team while developing your leadership and project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily construction activities and coordinating work crews on site
- Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to keep projects on schedule
- Help maintain site safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting toolbox talks
- Track materials, equipment, and labor to support project budgets and timelines
- Report progress, issues, and concerns to senior management
- Assist with reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and site plans
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on construction experience (concrete, general construction)
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet
- Valid driver’s license
