A leading property investment company is looking for an experienced Junior Maintenance / Operations Leader with strong experience in general building maintenance and contractor coordination to join their industrial team in Johannesburg. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on ensuring the effective upkeep and day-to-day operational functionality of multiple industrial properties. Responsibilities: Oversee general maintenance across a portfolio of industrial buildings Conduct regular site visits to inspect building conditions Monitor and verify contractor work on-site and ensure tenant satisfaction Follow up with contractors to ensure work is completed timeously and to standard Obtain and manage quotes for services such as security for upcoming vacancies Ensure vacant and occupied buildings are maintained to acceptable standards Spend the majority of the workday on-site across various buildings Requirements: Overall understanding of general building maintenance Experience in a junior maintenance management or operational management role Ability to manage contractors and coordinate maintenance activities Must have own reliable transport Willingness to travel between sites daily Practical, hands-on approach with strong follow-up skills Benefits: Salary: negotiable.
