About the Role

Youll oversee and guide a team of outbound sales agents, ensuring they generate quality leads, handle objections effectively, and deliver on sales targets. Youll help shape skills development, maintain discipline, and inspire a culture of teamwork and success.

What Youll Do

• Manage lead generation, warming, and optimisation

• Supervise agent performance and call compliance

• Identify training needs and coach the team

• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and script adherence

• Drive team discipline, talk times, and productivity

• Run effective sales incentives and build team spirit

• Liaise with sales support to boost performance

What You Bring

• Minimum NQF 4: Grade 12; relevant tertiary qualification a plus

• 3+ years in an outbound call centre sales environment

• Proven track record in short-term insurance sales

• At least 6 months experience in a supervisory role

• Strong admin, attention to detail, and time management skills

• Resilient, self-motivated, and customer-focused

• Regulatory Exam Certificate (RE5) and industry qualifications advantageous

This is a high-energy sales leadership role for someone with strong call centre experience and a proven track record in short-term insurance. Youll be responsible for managing a telesales team, optimising lead conversion, and building team capability in a performance-driven environment.

What Youll Do

• Lead and manage a team of call centre sales agents

• Oversee lead generation and optimisation for sales performance

• Monitor call quality, script adherence, and compliance

• Train and mentor staff to improve objection handling and conversion

• Track team talk time, login/logout patterns, and overall discipline

• Run incentives and build a collaborative, results-driven team culture

• Identify areas of improvement through reports and quality monitoring

• Collaborate with support teams to ensure seamless sales execution

What You Bring

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 (Tertiary qualification or RE5 a plus)

• 3+ years in outbound telesales with proven success

• 6+ months supervisory experience in a call centre environment

• Knowledge of short-term insurance products and compliance standards

• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
