Remote | Part-Time (±20 hours per week) A niche B2B marketing agency based in the USA is looking for a highly detail-oriented Lead Generation Research Specialist to join their remote team. The agency works with specialised B2B clients, delivering highly targeted marketing campaigns rather than broad, high-volume outreach. This role focuses on quality research rather than mass lead generation. Instead of working with hundreds of companies, you will typically research a small group of 15–20 targeted organisations at a time, identifying the right decision-makers and building accurate prospect data that supports personalised email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns. This is a foundational role within the marketing process, responsible for building the research and data that powers client campaigns. Key Responsibilities Research & Prospect Intelligence -Conduct detailed research on targeted companies within niche industries -Identify decision-makers and key leadership contacts -Map competitor and ownership networks within targeted markets Data & Contact Research -Build highly accurate prospect lists for targeted outreach campaigns -Source and verify contact information including: -Email addresses -Direct phone numbers -LinkedIn profiles -Job titles and company roles -Ensure data is organised, accurate, and properly formatted Marketing Campaign Preparation -Prepare prospect lists for email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns -Upload and manage data within marketing and CRM platforms -Maintain well-organised research records for campaign use Operational Support -Assist with tracking outreach progress and campaign activity -Maintain clean CRM records and research documentation -Contribute to improving internal research workflows and processes Tools & Platforms Experience with the following tools is highly beneficial: -Apollo (strongly preferred) -RocketReach -HubSpot or Zoho CRM -LinkedIn Sales Navigator -Asana -Excel or Google Sheets The Ideal Candidate This role will suit someone who: -Enjoys research and investigative work -Is highly detail-oriented and organised -Shows initiative and curiosity when gathering information -Works well independently in a remote environment -Has experience supporting sales, marketing, or lead research processes Candidates with backgrounds in lead generation research, recruitment resourcing, sales operations, virtual assistance, or data research often perform very well in this type of role. Working Structure -Fully remote -Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) -Very autonomous role with minimal supervision -Monthly check-ins while part-time There is also potential for the role to expand into a broader operational support position, including reporting and project coordination as the business grows.
