About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Contract Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, structuring, interpreting, executing, and/or administering contractual documents across various business objectives, including direct sales, licensing, consulting transactions, and related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, structure, interpret, execute, and administer contractual documents
- Identify business objectives of direct sales, licensing, consulting transactions, and related issues
- Facilitate risk/benefit analysis for customers
- Manage contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contract execution
- Manage contract change control process and related correspondence requiring legal input
- Drafts, manages, distributes, responds to, or analyzes Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or customer terms & conditions as needed
Requirements
- Relevant LLB degree or similar legal qualification
- At least 4 – 6 years working experience in the related field
- Strong proficiency in relevant computer packages (MS Office)
- Excellent attention to detail and numerate accuracy
- Dynamic and enthusiastic personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
