About the Role
The Manager: New Vehicle Sales (Renault) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the new vehicle sales department at MBPC The Glen, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. This position involves managing a team of sales associates, developing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of sales associates, setting sales targets and providing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell new vehicles, including setting pricing strategies and identifying target markets
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Work closely with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns and strategies to drive sales
- Oversee the inventory management of new vehicles, ensuring an appropriate mix of models and features to meet customer demand
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to new vehicle sales
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales associates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies
- Knowledge of market research techniques and tools
- Familiarity with automotive industry trends and developments
