About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Millwright with strong mechanical & electrical capabilities to support machining, repairs, inspections, and maintenance work across workshop and customer sites.
Minimum Requirements

Qualified Millwright (Red Seal preferred)

N6 Technical Certificate
-
Grade 12
-
5+ years Millwright experience
-
Valid Drivers Licence
-
Computer literate
-
Forklift / Overhead Crane Licence
-
Machining & milling experience
-
Ability to work on overhead cranes, electrical hoists & railway equipment
-
Willing to work long hours & travel when required
Knowledge & Skills
-
Strong mechanical & electrical orientation
-
Machining & milling processes
-
PLC & Micro Link fault finding
-
Variable speed drives & overhead crane systems
-
Ability to identify electrical components for sales quotations
-
Excellent knowledge of lifting equipment fault finding
-
Good understanding of hydraulic systems
-
Advanced skills in stripping & repairing gearboxes, actuators, hoists
-
Ability to read Electrical & Hydraulic drawings
-
Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments

Strong workshop experience
Core Functions

Machine & manufacture products according to engineering drawings

Maintenance, repairs & breakdown support

Load testing, inspections, and repairs at customer sites

Assembly & testing of mechanical & hydraulic equipment

Stock control, workshop compliance & housekeeping

Provide safe, high-quality material handling solutions

Ad hoc duties within the workshop
