Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate credit risk and impairment models aligned to IFRS 9 and Basel frameworks
• Conduct portfolio analytics, benchmarking, and model performance assessments to generate actionable insights
• Present findings, recommendations, and technical reports to clients and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic discussions and thought leadership within the risk advisory team

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience:
  • 35 years experience in banking, consulting, or financial services
  • Proven expertise in credit risk modelling, predictive analytics, and model validation.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS 9, Basel, and model risk management principles
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAS, Python, or R, with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory credit models and client-facing projects in a hybrid consulting setup.
