- Oversee supply chain efficiency, distribution planning, and cost optimization.
- Ensure efficient distribution networks, cold chain integrity, and inventory management.
- Optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines.
- Implement systems for forecasting demand and managing stock levels.
- Drive profitability, market expansion, and operational excellence.
- Lead brand positioning, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with South African regulations, food safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Set annual sales targets and monitor performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage pricing strategies and product portfolio optimization.
- In-depth understanding of poultry production systems, cold chain logistics, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with South African market dynamics and regulatory environment.
- Experience in export markets and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems for sales and logistics management.
