About the Role
The Working Earth is seeking a highly skilled Industrial / Organisational Psychologist to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a leading recruitment agency, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and candidates alike. This role will be responsible for leading and governing group-wide psychometric assessment practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and translating assessment data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern group-wide psychometric assessment practices for recruitment, promotion, development, and succession
- Ensure all assessment tools and processes comply with HPCSA guidelines, POPIA, and ethical standards
- Oversee assessment administration, interpretation, reporting, and feedback delivery
- Maintain and continuously refine the Group’s approved battery of assessments in line with best practice
- Maximise the use of assessment data to inform promotions, internal mobility, and career pathways
- Coordinate and manage external and internal psychologist networks, vendors, SLAs, and contracts
- Provide individual and group psychometric feedback sessions to employees and leaders
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Industrial / Organisational Psychology (MComm or MA)
- Registered with the HPCSA as an I/O Psychologist (Independent Practice)
- Strong expertise in psychometric assessment, test theory, interpretation, and feedback
- Experience designing and governing assessment frameworks and batteries
- Career development, talent management, and succession planning expertise
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial / Organisational Psychology (MComm or MA)
