Johannesburg North: IT Systems & Operations lead posted by Network Finance

The successful candidate will act as the operational backbone of the IT function, working closely with senior leadership while managing infrastructure, cybersecurity coordination, and service providers. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on system stability and business continuity while supporting a broader technology and innovation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operation of IT systems and infrastructure across multiple sites
• Oversee servers, networks, end user devices, backups, and system availability
• Administer and support the Syspro ERP environment including user access and permissions
• Coordinate cybersecurity operations in line with recognised security control frameworks
• Facilitate operational security discussions and track remediation activities
• Manage and validate work delivered by external IT service providers
• Lead incident resolution processes and conduct root cause investigations
• Implement approved system changes with proper documentation and rollback planning
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, system records, and asset registers
• Provide regular operational reporting and updates to senior IT leadership

Job Experience and Skills

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations within a medium sized environment
• Strong practical exposure to Microsoft server platforms, networking, and endpoint management
• Proven hands on Syspro ERP administration experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and CRM systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage third party service providers
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and incident management skills
• Relevant IT diploma or degree
• Verifiable experience administering Syspro ERP systems
• Infrastructure, networking, cloud, or security certifications will be advantageous
• IT service management training such as ITIL will be beneficial
