Johannesburg North: Junior Financial Accountant posted by Network Finance

We’re looking for a self-starter Junior Financial Accountant (3-months) who’s analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure. You’ll take ownership of the accounting and reporting function for several entities, ensuring accurate financial results, seamless processes, and audit readiness- while supporting continuous improvement across finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reports, reconciliations, and commentaries
• Maintain fixed asset registers and manage capitalisation, depreciation, and FX reconciliations
• Handle intercompany billing, treasury, and cashflow reporting
• Lead audit preparations and ensure full SOX compliance
• Mentor and support a small team to deliver high-quality, on-time results

Requirements:

• BCom in Finance or Accounting (or similar)
• Completed SAICA articles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Navision or similar)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Experience in SOX controls and reporting advantageous
