Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver multiple actuarial projects across life insurance and reinsurance clients.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and actuarial associates.
• Partner with clients to deliver strategic, technical, and business insights.
• Review actuarial models, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to business development and the firm’s broader strategic initiatives.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• Nearly or newly qualified FASSA (or equivalent).

Experience:

• Currently working in actuarial consulting (non-negotiable).
• 5–7 years of actuarial experience, primarily within life insurance.
• Proven leadership or people management experience.
• Exposure to IFRS 17, embedded value, or capital projects advantageous.

Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills; Prophet, R, Python, or SQL advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
